Restoring the Shaw Memorial in Boston

The Museum of African American History is collaborating with the city of Boston and Friends of the Public Garden to restore the Shaw monument, which memorializes the arrival of African Americans to the U.S. during the slave trade. Highlighting the importance of this type of remembrance is Ms. L’Merchie Frazier, the museum’s Director of Education and Interpretation.
