Boston is among the top 10 in a brand new ranking of best foodie cities in America.
Eric Convey, of the Boston Business Journal, authored an article entitled "This is why Boston was just ranked the number-three Foodie city in the country."
Some criteria that played a role in ranking the cities included: How often families dine out, average spending, healthy food/farmer's markets, number of acclaimed chefs.
Convey says Bostonians are among the healthiest eaters in the country.
New Haven, Connecticut and Scottdale, Arizona checked in ahead of Boston on the list.
