Massachusetts Philanthropist Discusses Importance of Social Responsibility

Bill Cummings grew up poor and then became one of the wealthiest people in Massachusetts. Now, he is focused on giving away nearly all of his wealth to philanthropic causes. He founded the sprawling real estate business, Cummings Properties, and then the Cummings Foundation. He is a developer, philanthropist and author; his autobiography is titled, “Starting Small and Making It Big: An Entrepreneur’s Journey to Billion-Dollar Philanthropist.”
