Southwest Airlines begins service at Logan Airport

(NECN: Michelle Brown, Boston, MA) – There’s a new option for travelers flying in and out of Boston. Starting Sunday, discount carrier Southwest will begin service in the hub. Southwest will be offering five daily flights each to Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Chicago Midway Airport. On Sunday, the airline celebrated by giving away free coffee, cookies and giveaways to customers departing for Chicago and Baltimore/Washington.
