Learning flu season etiquette

(NECN) – Flu season is upon us and efforts to prevent the spread of this disease has reached new heights following the swine flu outbreak of earlier this year. Etiquette expert Roseanne Thomas of Protocol Advisors took time to share some suggestions for “politely” staying germ free. Cough or sneeze inside your shirt or into the crook of your elbow In sharing a workspace, use hand sanitizer and cleansing wipes — when you leave and arrive Ask an employer to address a sickly co-worker; are feeling alright or might consider going home Work from home, if possible, if you are sick; be responsible Let loved ones know you’re not feeling well when turning away hugs and kisses Watch the entire interview in the video player above.
