Bedford Residents Have Questions After Home Invasion Victim Found Dead

(NECN: Lauren Collins, Bedford, N.H.) - Bedford, N.H. residents have questions after the victim of a home invasion was found dead and her husband was found unconscious.

Bedford police were called to 49 Kensington Lane Monday evening.

A relative had called police asking them to do a well being check on Dr. Eduardo Quesada and his wife Sonia.

The couple had been staying at Quesada’s mother’s home.

When police couldn’t reach them by phone, they forced their way into the home and found Mrs. Quesada dead and Dr. Quesada unconscious.

"There were so many questions about home invasion, that, you know, because people knew there were domestic disputes going there. So, it was kind of, the Bedford people were questioning and wanted to know things from the police and that was kind of still unsettled," said neighbor Janice Bullock.

"So now this happens and it's like, but who knew it would happen on Kensington Lane in this kind of quiet, you know, community."

This past November, police were called to the couple’s upscale home on Proclamation Court for the report of a violent home invasion.

Dr. Quesada, a prominent anesthesiologist, had life threatening injuries. His wife was also injured, but managed to run to a neighbor’s home to call for help.

Police were investigating the home invasion.

An autopsy will be performed on Mrs. Quesada, but toxicology results won’t be known for weeks.
