(NECN/CNN) - How much would you spend to be Lady Gaga for a day? From the hottest costumes to candy for the kids, the retail industry has high hopes for consumer spending this Halloween -- now that the economy is a little less scary.
Americans are expected to flex more spending muscle this Halloween than last, ringing up about $5.8 billion in sales, and spending just over $66, on average.
