Former CCSU Student Pleads Not Guilty in Connection With Campus Lockdown Scare

(NECN) -  A former Central Connecticut State University student has pleaded not guilty to charges of breach of peace and criminal trespassing following a school lockdown.

David Kyem, 21, was allegedly behind a campus-wide emergency and lockdown in November while wearing a Halloween costume.

Police say he was carrying a plastic samurai sword and a BB gun.

Police want his family to pay $13,000, the cost of the department's emergency response.
