Key Provision of President Obama's Health Care Law Delayed

The law will require all businesses to provide their employees with health insurance

(NECN) - A key provision of President Obama’s sweeping health care law has been delayed one year.

It revolves around the requirement that businesses provide their workers with health insurance, or pay a fine.

The Treasury Department says the delay came after business owners expressed concerns about the difficulty of the reporting requirements.

Those requirements will now begin in 2015  to allow the government to assess ways to simplify the reporting process.
