Mass. Gov. Patrick: I Urge as Many as Possible to Stay Home

Deval Patrick discusses the plan in action for the next winter storm hitting the Commonwealth

(NECN) – Another winter storm is making way through New England and is bringing heavy snow with it.

Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick joined us on the phone to discuss the course of action for the day.

“I’m encouraging as many people as possible to stay home and off the roads because it’s coming fast and furious at this point across the whole Commonwealth,” he said.

Some independent snow plow drivers have not been paid, but Patrick said that those people should be authorized and if they are not they should call his office.

He said that clearing the roads requires as little people as possible on them.
