MEMA Spokesperson: Coastal Flooding Is Biggest Concern

Peter Judge explains that road cleanup in Mass. is going well during nor’easter, but high tide will be watched closely

(NECN) - Peter Judge, the spokesperson for the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, joined NECN Thursday night to discuss the latest on storm cleanup and coastal concerns across the state.

Judge said that the cleanup, particularly on the major highways, was going well.

"Our major issue still is going to be that coastal flooding over the next two high tides," said Judge.

He also explained that there were "a handful" of people in the shelters set up in those community, but that many people likely left to stay with friends and family.
