Officials say Stephen Crane not in distress, just traveling slower than expected
(NECN) - After missing for three days, a sailor traveling from Maine to Florida has been found safe.
A Coast Guard aircraft spotted Stephen Crane about 70 miles off Long Island.
Officials say Crane is not in any distress but is just traveling slower than expected.
Crane's sister reported him missing on Thursday, when his sailboat did not arrive in Cape Hatteras, S.C.
