MIT Places Indefinite Ban on Fraternity, Sorority Parties

Ban comes in place after 18-year-old crashed through a skylight on a roof of an MIT frat

(NECN) - Officials in Boston have put an indefinite ban on parties and other large gatherings at MIT fraternities and sororities within the city.

The Boston Globe reports the move comes after an 18-year old MIT student and fraternity member crashed through a skylight and fell four stories during a party at a frat house last month.

The frat house was issued several citations.
