DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - The University of New Hampshire has fired a part-time member of its athletic department after allegations of misconduct involving athletes.
The university in Durham did not identify the employee or what he or she did for the school. It also did not specify the misconduct that came to light about 10 days ago. University Police Chief Paul Dean said the allegations involve the invasion of privacy.
In a brief statement, the university said the staff member was first placed on administrative leave then fired. The university police department is investigating.
A spokeswoman for the university declined to provide further details.
