Many resources were taken up during the hunt for the Boston Marathon bombing suspects

(NECN) - The hunt for the bombings suspects stretched the resources of police departments, including Watertown, Mass., where the shootout with the Tsarnaev brothers took place.

Watertown Police puts the rough estimate at $250,000.

MEMA Spokesman Peter Judge said that because President Obama declared the situation a federal disaster, FEMA will determine what expenses are eligible for reimbursement.
