(NECN/TWC: Eric Fisher, Narragansett, R.I.) - Rhode Island - like many states in the northeast - was hard hit by Hurricane Sandy. One of the state's popular, ocean-front restaurants was destroyed.
The water came up on the shore in Narragansett on Monday.
Coast Guard House, a popular restaurant and bar, was destroyed by the crashing high tides.
Some of the ocean wall nearby was also destroyed.
