Scituate, Mass. Facing Heavy Flooding Concerns

National Weather Forecast says town will get hit with heaviest flooding Friday afternoon

(NECN- Tim Kelley) – Scituate, Mass. is facing flooding concerns.

Properties on the coast have frozen sea water coating the sides.

Majority of the town still has electricity in the midst of a winter storm, but the town is concerned with high tide.

There was some moderate flooding overnight Thursday. The forecast from the National Weather Service says the tide will be the highest tide of the year at 13.9 feet, around the afternoon, which is borderline major flooding for the residents.
