And this year- they're hoping for an extended shopping rush, with 'Small Business Saturday' giving consumers another reason to get out and shop.
'Small Business Saturday' is the brainchild of American Express. The company is encouraging shoppers to support small, independently-owned businesses- which it calls the engine of the U.S. economy.
