Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s counsel wants to add ‘death penalty’ attorney David Bruck of Va.; Tsarnaev has been charged in Boston Marathon bombings
(NECN) - The surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect is looking to add to his legal team.
Lawyers for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev are asking the court to let them hire a second death penalty attorney, specificially David Bruck from Virginia.
Death penalty expert Judy Clarke is also representing Tsarnaev.
Tsarnaev plead not guilty to 30 federal courts, including using a weapon of mass destruction, on July 10 in connection to the April 15 bombings that killed three people and injured more than 260.
