World of Credit Cards Changes Today

(NECN) - Major credit card changes go into effect today, and there are several key facts that you do not want to ignore.

As of today, credit card companies cannot increase rates of existing balances unless you are 60 days overdue, and they need to give you 45 days notice if they are going to raise that rate, or start charging an annual fee.

There will be changes on your statement, too.
