Annual American Cancer Society walk held in Boston

(NECN: Boston, MA) – Pounding the pavement for a good cause. On Sunday, thousands of people headed to the Hatch Shell in Boston for the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. The Boston event is the country’s oldest and largest one-day breast cancer walk. The walk is a reminder, even just one person can help make a difference. Sunday’s goal is to raise $3 million to fight cancer! The event has raised nearly $40 million since its inception in 1993.
