Car accident closes Route 1 North in Revere; two dead

(NECN: Revere, Mass.) – Two people have died after a one vehicle rollover accident this morning in Revere, Massachusetts. Three other people have been transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. The five victims were all occupants of a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero that rolled over on the highway above the Copeland Circle (Route 60) rotary. The investigation is ongoing and fluid at this point in time. Route 1 northbound is closed at Route 60 and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
