CT prison in Somers under lock down

(NECN) – A lock down underway at one Connecticut prison, after attacks on three correctional officers Friday. The Department of Corrections says Northern Correctional Institution in Somers is locked down. It comes following what the DOC is calling “three separate and unrelated attacks” on prison guards. Two guards needed medical attention. Officials would not comment on the extent of the injuries. No word when the lockdown will be lifted.
