Maine State Police have identified a construction worker who was killed when he was run over by a dump truck on the Maine Turnpike in the town of York.
Troopers say the dump truck backed over James Woodward, 50, of Weskbrook, at a construction site on the York River Bridge late Tuesday morning.
Police have identified the driver of the truck as Garry Johnson, 53, of Hollis. Both worked for Shaw Brothers, which is doing work on the York River Bridge.
The lane where the accident took place was already closed to traffic.
