BOURNE, Mass. (AP) - Police in Bourne have arrested a suspect in an alleged samurai attack.
Police say the 39-year-old unidentified victim said he had been stabbed several times by a man wielding a samurai sword early Sunday morning and that the attacker was still on the property. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
A 28-year-old unidentified suspect was found in a side yard and arrested.
WJAR-TV reports that police have confiscated a nearly 3-foot long sword.

Around 1:35 a.m., police responded to the report on Shore Road of a man attacking another man with a sword.
A 39-year-old sustained serious injuries and was med-flighted to a Rhode Island hospital for treatment.
The 28-year-old suspect was still at the residence when police arrived. He was placed under arrest.
