A man died after a fire in Manchester, New Hampshire, Thursday night, and a woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A man is dead, and a woman is injured after an apartment building caught fire in Manchester, New Hampshire, late Thursday night.
Crews responded to a fire involving several rear porches just after 10:30 p.m. on Village Circle Way, the Manchester Fire Department said.
While firefighters worked on knocking down the fire and evacuating residents, a man was found and removed from the building, authorities said.
The man was sent to the hospital, where he later died, fire officials said.

A woman was also taken to the hospital with injuries, they said. Their names weren't released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
