Five people were transported to the hospital after a crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike Sunday morning.
According to the Charlton Fire Department, the call came in at 5:12 a.m. for the two-car crash in Charlton on Route 90 westbound.
Five people were transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with non-life threatening injuries. According to the department, one person was trapped in the vehicle and another was ejected.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
