Shoppers started early, flocking to malls in hopes of scoring great deals
It's close to 60 degrees this Black Friday in Dedham, Massachusetts, but there's no hustle and bustle happening at Legacy Place outdoor mall. Doorbusters are almost non exisistant, but shoppers say they are getting deals without the time crunch.
Black Friday is still a nationwide day of spending. The National Retailers Federation expects more than 135 million spenders to hit the streets. So what's so different at Legacy Place? Stores opened at 8 a.m. with the exception of a couple opening at 6 a.m., but the discounts are plenty with some even lasting all weekend. Shoppers telling us these deals are too good to pass up.
While you may have ditched the turkey dinner for the doorbusters, shopping will continue into the night.
