A Massachusetts State Police bomb squad was called in after several boxes of old, unstable dynamite were found in a commercial building in Boxborough that was being cleaned out.
Boxborough Police said the bomb squad was called to remove the dynamite and old blasting caps from a building at 287 Carmen Hill Road. Police said the dynamite had been there for some time and had not been stored properly.
No further information was immediately available.
