Boston Business Journal Report: Spinal Injury Leads to Romance, New Charity

Two recipients of an experimental treatment by a Massachusetts company have formed a very special bond.

Two young people, both badly injured, have been brought together with a ray of hope.

Twenty-two-year-old Jesi Stracham of Charlotte, North Carolina, was the second recipient of a new experimental treatment by InVivo, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She reached out to 26-year-old Jordan Fallis of Peoria, Arizona, who was the first recipient of that therapy.

Boston Business Journal managing editor Craig Douglas joins necn to discuss a story, "Life-altering spine injury leads to romance and a new charity."

"They're both motorcycle enthusiasts, they were both tragically injured in the last few months with bad spinal injuries," said Douglas. "Over that course of talking about their treatment, they started to strike up quite a relationship, and now it's blossomed into a full-blown love story."
