Here's a sure sign of the season -- the Frog Pond on the Boston Common is set to open this weekend.
Workers began putting down the ice Tuesday night to get it ready for public skating on Saturday.
Manager John Shaub tells Boston.com the rink may even open on Friday night at 4 p.m, if the weather is favorable.
