FAA Investigating Laser Pointed at Plane Landing at Logan Airport

No injuries were reported

The Federal Aviation Administration says it is investigating a report that a green laser was pointed at a plane landing at Logan Airport in Boston on Sunday night.

The crew of Air Canada flight 368 reported that a green laser illuminated the aircraft when it was at an altitude of 3,000 feet just 10 miles northeast of Logan Airport around 10:40 p.m. The flight had departed from Toronto Pearson International Airport.

No injuries were reported and the aircraft landed safely. Massachusetts State Police were notified and an investigation is ongoing.
