Additional remains have been found after a human bone was located on a path Thursday in Stoughton, Massachusetts, police confirm.
The bone was discovered early in the morning Thursday near Memorial Drive. Authorities did not provide any specific detials about the additional remains found Friday.
The remains have been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Massachusetts for inspection.
Officials are continuing to investigate. Access to the area of Simpson Road was restriced during the investigation.
Family members say 22-year-old Ilya Lastovkin went missing in this area in 2009, but they are not jumping to any conclusions.
