Kayaker Rescues 2 Men After Their Boat Capsizes

A kayaker helped rescue two men whose small dingy capsized in the water in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Tuesday night.

Police responded to the scene in the area of Fort Point Road and Parnell Street at 10 p.m. for a report of people in the water calling for help.

A kayaker was able to reach the men, who were brought onto an awaiting ambulance at Tern Harbor Marina.

The two men, a 38-year-old from Weymouth and a 33-year-old from Quincy, were not wearing life vests. It is unknown way they were in the water in a small dingy at that hour.

Police say an investigation is underway.
