Police don't believe it was a random act when a man was shot near the Burlington Mall in Massachusetts Thursday night.
The shooting happened around 9:20 in the parking lot area closest to the Middlesex Turnpike.
Police who responded to the report did not find the victim, but received a call from the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center saying a 28-year-old man came in with a gunshot wound to the arm.
The victim, who is expected to survive, is believed to know the suspect.
