Police in Groveland, Massachusetts, said a 14-year-old girl was approached by a suspicious male driver who asked her if she needed a ride on Wednesday.
At 11:49 a.m., police said the girl was exiting the school bus when she was approached by the male operator of a vehicle as she walked on Washington Street near Main Street. The student said the driver pulled up alongside her and asked "Do you want a ride?" before driving off.
The student said she felt as though the vehicle had been following her prior to their encounter.
A school bus driver reported that she saw a person the day before standing on the side of the road near the school who fits the description of the driver of the vehicle in this incident. The driver is described as a man in his late 50s or early 60s, with dark hair and a black beard. He was wearing glasses.
