Massachusetts State Police said they have recovered a body from the Charles River in Boston.
A person who was on the Esplanade near the Hatch Memorial Shell saw the body and called it in.
Aerial footage shows numerous police and fire vehicles at the scene and a police boat alongside a dock.
State police say the body is that of an adult male who may be a member of the homeless community, however, the identification efforts are ongoing.
It doesn't appear that the body is that of a missing Harvard man who was reported missing last month, according to the Suffolk District Attorney's office.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death.
