A Massachusetts resident who stars in a reality TV show was arrested in North Carolina for allegedly pulling the ponytail of a hotel front desk clerk, according to a report.
The Salem News reports Wicked Tuna's David Marciano of Beverly was arrested Tuesday after the incident early Monday morning at the Holiday Inn Express in Morehead City, a coastal town where the show is filming. According to the report, police say Marciano reportedly appeared to be intoxicated during the incident.
Marciano and his producer went to the Morehead City police station when the incident was reported to police on Tuesday, and was arrested and charged with assault on a female, according to The Salem News.
Marciano was released, and a court date has been set for Jan. 28.
Wicked Tuna is a National Geographic Channel show that has been filmed in Gloucester.
