Authorities in Chelsea, Massachusetts, received reports from the local Salvation Army that workers and customers were getting sick inside the building on Monday.
The call came in around 1 p.m. for the incident at 456 Broadway. The fire department responded, but couldn't find anything wrong. At 3 p.m., they received calls with similar complaints and again could not find reason for the illnesses.
Salvation Army reopened at 8 a.m. Tuesday with the same problem. The store has been closed until the specific cause is found.
The Department of Health will investigate.
