Suspect Sought in Early-Morning Sex Assault in Brookline

Police in Brookline, Massachusetts, are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman early Thursday morning and fled.

The victim told police she was assaulted in the area of Gibbs Street and Naples Road around 1 a.m. She was with a friend at the time.

The victim yelled out and the suspect fled on foot towards Commonwealth Avenue. Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.

The man is described as clean-shaven, 5’7”, and was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt.
