Police say 17-year-old Brittney Murch of Hubbardston, Massachusetts, died when she crashed in Barre; her 15-year-old brother sustained serious injuries.
A 17-year-old Massachusetts girl was killed and her younger brother was injured when they crashed Wednesday morning in Barre.
Police say Brittney Murch of Hubbardston was driving on Route 62 when she crashed between Cummings Road and Barre Falls Dam.
She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Murch's 15-year-old brother, whose name has not been released, sustained serious injuries and was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
According to police, weather may have been a factor, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
