An Uber driver is accused of sexually assaulting a Boston woman.
Thirty-six-year-old Abderrahim Dakiri of Boston has been charged with indecent assault and battery.
According to Boston police, officers responded to the city's North End on Sunday around 3:25 a.m. for a report of a woman who was indecently assaulted.
Police say the victim, a 30-year-old woman, was out with three friends and had called for an Uber ride at the end of the night. Police say her three friends were dropped off and the victim was still in the car to be dropped off at a different place when the driver, later identified by police as Dakiri, indecently touched her several times.
The victim exited the car and was eventually helped by someone who alerted authorities, Boston police said.
Police say Dakiri was arrested at the East Boston police station without incident.
There's no word on when he'll be arraigned or if he has a lawyer.
