Utility Worker Shocked in Plymouth, Massachusetts

The man was MedFlighted to the hospital

A subcontractor for Eversource was working in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Wednesday morning when he was shocked.

According to the Plymouth Police department, the man was working in a bucket truck at the Myles Standish State Park on West Crescent Avenue and Crawford Street when he made contact with a primary wire.

Police arrived on scene and the bucket had already been lowered.

The victim had visible burn marks to his hands and shirt.

He was transported via ambulance to a landing zone within the state forest where he was then airlifted via MedFlight to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

He was conscious when he was transported.

The Massachusetts State Police, Enivornmental Police, and OSHA are investigating.
