Milford ends free water distribution on day ten of boil order

(NECN: Katie Davis, Milford, Mass.) – People in Milford, Massachusetts have had to boil their water for ten straight days. After eight o’clock this evening, they won’t be getting any more free bottled water. The town has been telling residents to boil their water for over a week because traces of coliform have turned up in the water supply. Hundreds of people have been lining up daily at the high school to pick up bottled water ever since. The Milford Water Company is going to stop handing out the water tonight. The latest test results are expected later tonight.
