Wind, Waves and Light
Kinetic sculptor George Sherwood’s pieces move in the breezes that blow across the grounds of Vermont’s Shelburne Museum, long one of the state’s most popular attractions for tourists. On view through late October, Sherwood’s shiny metal sculptures reflect glints of sunshine, the green of the trees, and the red of the museum’s round barn. Paintings by Grandma Moses and massive circus posters are among the other offerings from the museum this summer.
