Police Officer Dies After Attempted Cook-Out Stunt

Officer Keith Trombley was 25 and a full-time officer with the Nashua Police Department for over two years

An investigation is underway after Keith Trombley, a police officer in Nashua, New Hampshire, found suffering a head wound died from his injuries.

A New Hampshire police officer who died from his head wound injuries Wednesday night was attempting a stunt at a cook-out,  officials said. 

Officials said Nashua Police officer Keith Trombley fell when he tried to ride his bike down the stairs during a gathering with other officers at a Pelham home. Trombley, 25, was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Trombley was a full-time officer with the Nashua Police Department for over two years.

Police have not said if alcohol was a factor in the incident.

Trombley leaves behind his parents, siblings and a girlfriend.
