A teenager was killed after a single-car crash in Lawrence Saturday morning, officials say.
The young woman crashed a car into a utility pole on Water Street just after 6 a.m., according to a statement from local police. She was pronounced dead on scene by paramedics from Lawrence General Hospital.
The victim was the only person in the car at the time of the crash, police said. The accident is under investigation by Lawrence police and state police.
