Tropical Depression Danny whips up east coast

(NECN: Latoyia Edwards – Chatham, MA) – Tropical Storm Danny has weakened to tropical depression as the rain and wind is already whipping up the eastern coast. Overnight the storm became a hybrid storm and forecasters expect a second straight weekend of dangerous surf along East Coast NECN reporter Latoyia Edwards joins us from Chatham, Massachusetts. She is at Fishermans Pier where winds are expected to pick up through Saturday evening with gusts to 50 MPH.
