Police: Vermont Convenience Store Shooting Suspect Caught

Authorities say 39-year-old Christopher Burnor was found in Johnson, Vermont

Authorities say a man wanted in connection to a convenience store shooting in Morrisville, Vermont, was caught in Johnson Wednesday evening.

Thirty-nine-year-old Christopher Burnor of Waterville faces a first degree attempted murder charge.

Police say Burnor shot 32-year-old Thomas Zapantis in the Cumberland Farms convenience store on Main Street around 12:30 p.m. and then fled the scene. Zapantis was last listed in stable condition at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
