Vermont Native Going for Gold in Moguls Skiing

Qualifying events for men’s and women’s freestyle skiing moguls took place Thursday in Pyeongchang, and Emerson Smith, a 20-year-old Vermont native, is hoping to ride those bumps all the way to an Olympic medal. Smith grew up in Dover, Vermont where he says he learned on icy, rough conditions. He says it will be extra special for his mom, who will be there in South Korea to watch him compete.
